I will say most of the mods are re-textures to the skin texture to make them look better for aesthetics.

With regards to body replacers i'm unsure. But with the coming raider overhaul, dragbody will have to make a choice. The best armor replacers are from dragbody. Until now, this matter was not really important because female bodies in drags overhaul were not exposed.
